Alex Garrett

Alex Garrett is a Senior Portfolio Strategist based in Atlanta, GA. With 15
years of experience in portfolio strategy and financial planning, Alex brings
knowledge, discernment, and understanding of the financial landscape
to his clients. Before joining First Citizens, Alex spent 9 years with Merrill
Lynch as a First Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor and 4 years
with Oppenheimer & Co. as a Director of Investments partnering with his
high net worth clients. Through a process of discovery and analysis, Alex
developed investment strategies and financial plans which fit both the
financial and emotional needs of his clients.

Alex is securities licensed and holds Accredited Investment Fiduciary
(AIF®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Certified
Personal Retirement Specialist (CPRSTM) designations.

Alex obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University with a
double major in Economics and Human & Organizational Development.
