Opportunities to Connect

Connect with the manufacturing community at our monthly and annual events!

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance hosted over 60 events last year, providing manufacturing professionals with opportunities to make valuable connections across the state. Our mission is to create a community of industry professionals that can share ideas, leads, and best business practices to provide a more vibrant economy in Georgia. By working together through events like these, we are building a stronger manufacturing community.

Plant Tours - Limited to 2 per company for manufacturers and 1 person per company  for non-manufacturers

We hosted 20 plant tours in 2023, which gives our GMA Members and guests the opportunity to have an inside look at high-quality, state-of-the-art facilities around the state. We have toured highly recognizable names such as Alcon, Blue Bird Bus, Daniel Defense, Gulfstream, KIA Motors, Kings Hawaiian, Husquvarna, Olympic Steel, Savannah Bee, Southwire and Yamaha.

We also like to tour and highlight smaller companies that provide valuable parts and services to industries around the world. We cap our tours at 40 attendees so everyone can network with peers while seeing best business practices in action.

Networking

We host two networking events a month designed primarily for non-manufacturing service companies. Occasionally, a manufacturer will join us when they are searching for new suppliers. These events give manufacturers and service providers the opportunity to share ideas, pass referrals, and stay up to date on what is happening in the manufacturing community.

Held in Alpharetta and Cobb, these sessions offer our GMA Members the opportunity to connect with others in the manufacturing community.  GMA Members can have the Reserved Industry Seat, so they are the “go-to” person in their group for their service.

Educational Sessions

Helping our members stay ahead of the learning curve is an important aspect of our mission at GMA. We keep a pulse on what is happening in the industry and provide Educational Workshops on topics such as Disruptive Technologies, International Manufacturing, Leadership Development, LinkedIn Training, Safety/OSHA Regulations, Sales & Marketing, and Workforce Development.

Typically a 2-hour Lunch & Learn or Breakfast format, each workshop is designed to give you concise and specific training that will keep you motivated and help lead your team to success.
