Local Ice Cream Company Among Many Offering Jobs in Manufacturing

In his 20 years as a manufacturing manager, an executive with Marietta’s High Road Ice Cream and Sorbet said he has seen the pool of applicants for manufacturing jobs shrink.
“Folks nowadays when they go to school, let’s say you’re getting out of high school and going into college, nobody is really thinking about it as a career anymore,” said Steven Roddy, the company’s chief manufacturing officer.
